AI is likely to play an important role in many areas of our lives. AI is the ability of a computer or a machine to think or learn. It is becoming more efficient with time, and in 2023, we can expect to see further advancements in it. AI touches every aspect of our lives, starting from the moment we wake up and we reach our mobile phones to start our day. Siri and Alexa are virtual assistants designed to respond to voice commands. In video games, we play with a computer e.g in ludo, chess, or go, etc. These are all AI systems that we use on a daily basis.
AI applications automate everything so that humans do not have to memorize things or solve puzzles. We tend to use our brains less or less which makes us lazy.On the other hand, AI can make our life easy or efficient as it reduces human effort, help in decision making and is error-free
The question which arises is will AI systems replace or compete with humans?
AI has indeed taken place of many jobs. AI has the potential to do many tasks which are currently being performed by human beings. It may take place of human beings in many areas but it can’t completely replace us as AI is still limited in its abilities. Humans possess a higher level of intelligence, allowing us to understand complex emotions and think critically, while, AI has no emotions or feelings and it can only do tasks based on an algorithm that is given by humans. But when it comes to speed, AI or robots are far better than us as they can process more information or calculations in less time.
Machines can do our work more rapidly or accurately, so they have taken the place of many jobs. For example, now there is less need for human labor. Robots are becoming advanced and are able to do complex tasks. They are trying to learn human language and give human-like responses so that they can naturally interact with us. Autonomous vehicles like self-driving cars eliminate the need for a human driver, and automatic customer service systems replace human customer service.
In 2023, we can expect to see continued growth and advancement in the field of AI. One of the most significant trends is the increasing use of AI in industry and business. In the future, it will be adopted by various industries or lead to many innovations and will automate every profession in the world.

I completely agree that although AI will replace some of our jobs, it cannot completely replace human beings. As future unfolds, new kinds of jobs will emerge which are yet unknown to us.
In my opinion, humanity’s real threat is not machines but rather humans themselves. Even currently, the situation is pretty tense on the global level, and with nuclear technology, the consequences can be disastrous. So humans should focus on striving for global peace and creating harmony instead of fearing AI or ETs.
