The system in which we are preparing ourselves for future goals, in a true sense, is not made for the education of students rather its priority is to give employment to the people of the country. I have analyzed the system deeply, especially the system of Sindh. Recently, the government has appointed many teachers via IBA tests for primary and secondary institutions. I talked to them and asked about their level of knowledge about primary concepts of the various subjects on the primary level, which made me disappointed. The results were not as per primary or secondary level teachers even if they had BS degrees from different universities. I was shocked when a JEST (junior elementary school teacher) answered me that he can solve the “plus and minus” up to a thousand but multiplication and division are not a cup of tea for him even under 50. This is the caliber of a teacher who is graduated and doesn’t know these kinds of small calculations, then what would be the future of the students who have an opportunity to be taught by this kind of teacher and what could they do in the coming days of their lives. I am amazed by the system of the university from where he has done his graduation, how can a student get a degree who doesn’t know this simple math and could you imagine what would be the condition of the other subjects? And what will happen with the students to whom he will teach in his next 30 years of service tenure?
Many other persons who have been working in private companies and many those who have left education many years ago and working in different professions also got the posts in education just studying for 10 to 20 days. I have seen people who were earning one and a half lac rupees monthly in private companies also joined government jobs just to be secure. I have also visited the schools in which teachers are appointed to fill the posts but there is not even a single student. I don’t know where our educational system is standing and on which level of destruction it is but I am sure that it is not improving. Following the traditional ways, day by day our education is becoming meaningless to the modern technological world.
The educational department should work on the improvement of the quality of education rather than making it a factory of employment. Education is the only source of change in thoughts and development of the country for the long run and without quality education, one day the nation will be shattered and ruined.

You are right. HEC itself has declared that our education can neither produce good leaders nor good citizens. It means HEC is well aware of consequences that this system is producing. Despite being well awared, they don’t bother to introduce constructive reforms. Indeed, our system aims to produce robots rather than leaders and creative minds. We are same what we were thousands years ago and perhaps would remain same if we keep believing in this obnoxious system.
Nice bro. But just mentioned the inability of teachers and our destructive education system, what should be solutions and how to overcome the trend of appointing in jobs who possess no effective educational background.
